On a twig from roadside tree, Tullig, Co. Cork, SW Ireland.

First recorded new to Britain and Ireland by Neil Sanderson from New Forest pasture woodlands in southern England and confirmed by DNA sequencing. More information www.fungi.org.uk/lichen

It is similar to Lecanora chlarotera s. str. with large crystals in the margins and chlarotera-type epihymenium (granules not descending into the hymenium). The dark chestnut-brown disks are often +/- pruinose. POL Micrograph below.
There is a weak UV+ orange-brown fluorescence from the thallus (strongest on apothecia margins) and the discs UV+ dark grey-blue, most noticeable from discs with well-developed pruina (photograph below).
