Previously recognized as Ramalina incrassata
Growth type fruticose.

Chemical reaction K+ red
LGBI3: "Forms clusters of decumbent strongly convex downwardly arching lobes that are densely tuberculate or pycnidiate."

LGBI3: "a common form on western shores on vertical faces and below overhangs". Occurs in suitable coastal habits among the more usual forms of Ramalina siliquosa but very rarely found inland.
