Species: Ramalina siliquosa Photos: On coastal rock, Durrus, Cork, SW Ireland. Very variable. Thallus erect or pendant, smooth or warted, un-blackened at base. Lobes little-divided, strongly flattened, nodulose and with pale pycnidial tips. Apothecia are frequent with creamy-fawn discs. Common on siliceous rocks on coasts round Ireland, occasionally found slightly inland. More frequent than Ramalina cuspidata (main branches rounded to weakly flattened in cross section).
