Small, scattered, immersed or +/- protruding perithecia on the host thallus, the ostioles visible when mature. Asci 42-50 × 13-18 µm, multi-spored with approximately 32 spores. Spores (0-)1-3 septate, pale greyish-brown, (6-)7.5 - 11(-12.5) µm. Pycnidia absent. Micrographs below.

Lichenicolous on the thallus of Solenopsora holophaea, rarely on the apothecia. First described from France 2021/11/22, ref: "Muellerella solenopsorae Brien, Cl. Roux et Monnat sp. nov., champignon lichénicole (Ascomycota) sur Solenopsora holophaea"
