Species: Cladonia incrassata Q Photos: On upland peaty soil. Ballingeary, Cork, SW Ireland. Dominant incised basal squamules to 4mm, yellowish grey-green, usually with soredia underneath. Red sorediate apothecia can be abundant and are +/- sessile on elongated squamules. Very small and easily overlooked. Occurs on humus and old peat.
