Species: Cladonia foliacea Photos: Rock Island, Co. Cork, SW Ireland. Tufts of large, deeply incised yellow-green squamules, rarely with black cilia on the margins. The undersides of the lobes are whitish-yellow. Small podetia are occasionally produced with smooth, irregular cups. K-, KC+ yellow, P+ red Usually coastal on dry calcareous soil and short grassland. Could be confused with Cladonia angustiloba |
