Growth type crustose.
Photos: On acidic upland rock and worked timber. Ballingeary, Cork, SW Ireland. Specimens identified by J Douglass and B Coppins.

Small inconspicuous or areolate yellowish-green or grey-green thallus, often with black prothallus. Small pale yellow to greenish-yellow convex apothecia, paler margin becoming excluded.
